Getting Your Items Fixed

We love helping you give your favorite belongings a second life! On average, our amazing volunteers are able to successfully repair about 65% of the items brought to our events.

While we always do our absolute best, we can't fix everything. Here is why an item might not make it across the finish line:

• Time Runs Out: To give every repair the attention it deserves, we usually need to cut off sign-ups by 3:30 PM. If it’s an extra-busy day, we might have to close the line a little earlier.

• Specialized Expertise: Our volunteer fixers have a wide range of skills, but the right specialist might not be at the table that day. For last-minute updates on who is volunteering, keep an eye on our Instagram.

• Missing Parts: We only keep a small supply of basic materials on hand. If you already know your item needs a specific replacement part—like a new zipper, button, or wire—please bring it along with you!
